Grapefruit, citrus and lemon blossom with hints of elderflower, lotus and hedgerow layered over an impressive spine of refreshing acidity, this wine has a great flinty minerality from our silex vineyards and a long crisp finish – another Sauvignon Blanc that will age and develop beautifully.

Soil: Three soil types - Tuffeau limestone formed 100 million years ago, mixed with a harmonious blend of loose and flinty clay, mica and sand. Silex, the 65-million-year-old flint terroir, stores and reflects heat, producing restrained linear, gunflint mineral wines with acidity and spice. Sandy topsoil sitting on top of a thick layer of excellent smectite clay adding varietal flavours and aromas.
Winemaking: Following cold stabilisation in stainless steel, this vintage underwent a finely tuned aromatic fermentation over the course of approximately one month, to realise the wine’s full aromatic potential, before alcoholic fermentation over ten days.

Notes: Racy and crisp sauvignon showing layered citrus, notes mango and lotus with green tea, hedgerow and wild mint and artichoke. The palate shows textured flinty minerality and length, finished with crisp, refreshing acidity and lovely saline notes.
