2005 Vintage
Levin wines experienced a superior vintage in 2005 after a challenging 2004. The following techniques were implemented: organic management of the vineyards (biodynamic from 2006), yield restriction, leaf plucking, hand harvesting and picking in 3 tranches. The implementation of the above methods resulted in beautiful, concentrated and healthy grapes with which to produce Levin wine.
2005 LEVIN SAUVIGNON BLANC,
Loire, VDP du Jardin De La France
Appearance: Clear, pale with light green reflections.
Nose: Complex nose with typical Loire Sauvignon notes of blackcurrant leaf, complete with a wild mint tone.
Palate; Intense and mineral laden the palate has a long persistent citrus and grapefruit flavours with teasing herbaceousness and a delicious mouth-watering acidity.
